CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s going to be at least another week before the Lynx Blue Line is back to full service.

Falling trees caused by Tropical Storm Michael damaged overhead wires last week.

Starting today, the connector bus bridge that is currently in place will change to operate between Scaleybark Station and Sugar Creek Station.

Trains will continue to run between South Boulevard and New Bern Stations and from 36th Street Station to UNC Charlotte.

The Lynx Gold Line service is still suspended until further notice.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Storm damage left behind from Hurricane Michael is causing problems on the light rail between Uptown and Plaza Midwood.

Crews are making repairs to the LYNX Blue Line after trees fell on the tracks and lines during the storm.

The Blue Line is running from I-485 to the New Bern Station and from NoDa to UNC Charlotte.

Bus service is operating for people at the stations where service is suspended.
