CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after one person was seriously injured near Uptown.
Medic says a victim was taken to Novant with potential life threatening injuries after an assault Monday afternoon. The incident reportedly happened at a law office on East 4th Street near S. Torrence Street.
According to witnesses, a disgruntled man entered the law office and punched a woman in the stomach to send a message.
Police have not released any information on the suspect or if any arrests have been made.
