ALEXANDER COUNTY, NC — Investigators have charged a 26-year-old woman in connection to a stabbing on Sunday.
Tristan Richards was arrested at her home after investigators say she stabbed a man earlier in the day.
Samuel Keller called for help at a neighbors house after investigators say he was stabbed in the abdomen by Richards. Officials say Richards ran into the woods to avoid deputies, but was found at her home roughly an hour and a half later.
Keller was taken to Frye Regional Medical Center for treatment, and later released.
Richards is charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
