Edge On The Clock: Megyn Kelly Apologizes For Defending Blackface

Megyn Kelly is in damage mode.
She’s apologizing for asking why blackface is considered racist.
It happened during a segment on her hour of NBC’s Today Show on Tuesday, during a discussion about inappropriate costumes.

“But what is racist? Because truly you do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface at Halloween or a black person who puts on white face for Halloween,” Kelly said.  “Back when I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as like a character.”

Kelly has since said the backlash led her to re-think her views and she now realizes such behavior is wrong.
