Tryon & E.7th Streets

An 80-foot-tall Ferris wheel in the heart of Center City. This is the same Ferris wheel that people know from some of the worldโ€™s greatest music festivals like Bonnaroo. Come join us at the corner of North Tryon and East 7thย Streets betweenย Fridayย andย November 10th. Tickets to ride are $6 for adults and $3 for kids.

Nebelโ€™s Alley Night Market

Nebelโ€™s Alley Night Market, an intimate and indulgent evening of shopping will be your new favorite night out in Historic South End. The market will feature a range of products from 30 pop-up vendors including handmade leather products, vintage accessories, T-shirts, home dรฉcor and local kombucha. Attendees can grab dinner from Superica or Pikeโ€™s Soda Shop and enjoy an ice cream cone from Jeniโ€™s Splendid Ice Creams while wandering through the market. Black and white movies projected on the brick walls of the alleys and live jazz and a caricaturist will complete the vibe.

EpicFest is an extraordinary, free literary festival that brings children, teens and families together with authors, illustrators and the Library. This yearโ€™s festival will feature appearances by award-winning authors and illustrators, activities that encourage a love of reading and learning, a musical performance by Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, and a YA author panel for teens and all fans of young adult literature.
