CHARLOTTE, NC – Across the Charlotte region, many YMCA of Greater Charlotte branches will provide free childcare on November 6, 2018 to make it easier for Americans who wish to vote on Election Day. Available times and duration of care vary at each participating branch location, and parents will need to fill out a registration form when they drop off their child.
“We want local families to know the Y is here when they need us,” says Adrianne Hobbs, the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s Executive Director of Youth Development. “Our highly-trained childcare professionals will provide a safe, nurturing and fun experience for children while citizens exercise their important freedoms.”
This opportunity is open to all families but space will be limited. Interested parents are encouraged to find more information on our website, stop by their local YMCA branch or call 704-716-6200.
