Third Cabarrus County Student Charged With Having Gun On Campus

Concord Police have charged a third Cabarrus County High School student in connection to a gun being brought on campus on November 2nd.

According to police, 17-year-old Grayson Brooks was also found to have possessed the gun at some point while at school last Friday. Sieaira West and Jalen Dixon were previously charged in the connection to the crime.

Brooks is charged with having a weapon on campus or other educational property.

CONCORD, NC — Police say two Central Cabarrus High School students have been charged after a gun was found on campus.

Investigators say the gun was found Friday in the backpack of 17-year-old Sieaira West by an administrator. At this time however, police say it appears the gun was actually brought to school by another student, 17-year-old Jalen Dixon.

At some point, police say Dixon gave the gun to West. The gun was also reportedly stolen.

Dixon and West are each charged with having a weapon on campus or other educational property. Dixon is additionally charged with possession of a stolen firearm.
