Man Accused Of Abduction Arrested After Crash In Charlotte; Child Found Safe
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man wanted for abducting a three-year-old girl from Gastonia has been arrested following a car crash in Charlotte Sunday afternoon.
Maurice Knox, 57, is accused of taking three-year-old Destiny Boykins from an Apartment in Gastonia Sunday morning.
Authorities believe Knox was traveling to a residence on Wingate Avenue in Charlotte, when he crashed at the intersection of Remount Road and Toomey Avenue in Charlotte and was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Boykins is being reunited with her mother, according to police .
