CHARLOTTE, NC — The Factory Comedy Room will be hosting “Hurricanes Blow,” a benefit show to raise money for families affected by the recent hurricanes in North Carolina, on Saturday, November 17th at 9pm with doors opening at 8:30. Tickets to the show will be $15 with proceeds going to support local Hurricane Relief charities in Wilmington, NC.
The event is part of a two-night comedy extravaganza that will span from The Factory Comedy Room, a new comedy venue in the up and coming “South End” of Charlotte, on Saturday night to The LaZoom Room in Asheville, NC on Sunday night. Performing at both shows will be Wilmington comedians Lew Morgante, Louis Bishop, Drew Harrison and Jesse Jones.
Jones, who left Wilmington in 2017 for Charlotte, says, “If we can help the people of Wilmington and make the people of Charlotte laugh, then we have done our jobs.” Jones is co-owner of The Factory Comedy Room, and along with partner Andy Grosso are happy to help in any way they can.
The pair will partner with Melissa Hahn and The LaZoom Room in Asheville, NC for the two-night event starting Saturday, November 17th at 9pm.
