Do You Bribe Your Kids?

Bribery may be mom and dad’s best friend. 82 percent of parents say they use money or treats to get their kids to eat, sleep or just leave them alone.
That’s according to a new survey commissioned by the streaming service Vudu.

It found parents spend around five hours a week actively trying to get kids to do something they don’t want to. Some common tricks parents use include calling all meat chicken, saying medicine is candy and keeping the iPad only partially charged so kids don’t spend too much time on it.

But one of parents’ most popular trick is bribery. 76 percent say they use TV or movies to reward good behavior, while others go as far as mixing candy sprinkles into their kids’ vegetables to get them to eat healthy.

So do you bribe your kids?
