CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say a 13-year-old boy was in possession of a pocket taser Tuesday afternoon at Eastway Middle School.
The CMPD School Resource Officer was reportedly alerted to the situation around 12:40pm at the school on Norland Road. The student was quickly located, and the officer safely retrieved the taser without incident.
No injuries were reported, according to police, and no threats were made. The juvenile is being charged with Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds.
