CMPD Needs Help Finding Missing Gaston County Man

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is looking for a 47-year-old Gaston County man who went missing after being dropped off at a Charlotte area restaurant on October 30th.

Police say Matthew Coleman was reported missing shortly after 2pm on November 6th. Coleman was reportedly dropped off at a Wendy’s on Freedom Drive by a family member on October 30th and never returned home.

Family members say it is unusual for him to go this long without contacting them.

Coleman is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 140 pounds with a short afro and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing painter’s clothes that included a white shirt, white pants, a grey jacket and a red knit hat.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
