KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC — Troopers say one person has died and another is seriously injured following an accident on I-85 south near Kings Mountain.
Around 5pm Thursday afternoon, the NC Highway Patrol said a driver got on I-85 south near MM 10 heading north. The driver then ran into an oncoming vehicle.
Troopers say one person has died and another was seriously injured.
I-85 south is still closed in that area. Officials say drivers should take an alternate route and expect delays.
