CMPD Charges 3 Suspects In Connection To String Of Armed Robberies

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD detectives have charged three suspects with committing multiple armed robberies over the last two weeks.

Just after midnight Friday, police say they located a vehicle near Eastway and Shamrock Drive, which matched the description of one used during several recent armed robberies. The suspects reportedly refused to stop and led officers on a chase that finally ended on Statesville Avenue near I-85.

Jade Dulin, 22, Jarod Starks, 29, and Terrance Morgan, 26, were all arrested and charged following the chase.

Police say the 2012 Maxima they were driving was reported stolen from Nation Ford Road on the morning of November 7th. The suspects were also charged in connection to the following crimes:

  • Armed Robbery on November 7th at 10:47pm on Shamrock Drive
  • Armed Robbery on November 7th at 11:26pm on Tara Lane
  • Armed Robbery on November 8th at 3:34am at the PLS Checking and Cashing on South Tryon
  • Armed Robbery on November 8th at 4:52am on Parkwood Avenue
  • Armed Robbery on November 11th at 7:08pm on North Tryon Street
  • Armed Robbery on November 14th at 6:11pm on North Tryon Street
  • Armed Robbery on November 15th at 11:47pm on Reddman Road

Dulin is charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, seven counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and traffic related charges.

Starks and Morgan are each charged with seven counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
