MONROE, NC — The City of Monroe is warning residents of possible traffic disruptions due to upcoming water main construction.
The City’s Water Resources Construction Division says two upcoming projects will replace aged steel water main lines beginning November 29th and lasting until roughly December 20th.
The areas impacted will include the Monroe Shopping Center behind Holloway’s Music and the Allstate Insurance buildings, and Coakley Street from Old Morgan Mill Road to Normand Street.
Temporary traffic disruptions are expected during construction, officials say.
