LINCOLNTON, NC — A Hickory man was arrested Wednesday in connection to several vehicle break-ins that occurred at a Lincoln County apartment complex.
The break-ins happened around 1am at the Riverwalk Apartments in eastern Lincoln County. Antonio Williams, 25, was reportedly located at the scene by responding deputies and arrested following a brief foot chase.
Nearly a dozen vehicles were broken into, but investigators say they were all unlocked. Investigations into what may have been taken from the vehicles is ongoing.
Williams is charged with 11 felony counts of Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and one misdemeanor count each of Larceny, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resist, Delay and Obstruct a Public Officer.
