CHARLOTTE, NC – Two local event companies have joined forces with the already successful Santa Bar Crawl, now in its nineteenth year. The current organizers of the event, Lazyday.com and Elevate Lifestyle, have teamed up with RockHouse Events and SportsLink, in an effort to solidify this event as the premier holiday bar crawl in the region.
The number of crawlers is growing each year, with a record of over 1,850 crawlers last year. Tickets for the crawl are $19 in advance and $25 the day of, tickets are available now online. Advanced tickets are only available until midnight on Friday, December 7th. Registration begins at 3 pm until 5 pm at Flight Charlotte uptown, then the crawlers will go from place to place with a total of 20+ participating bars, clubs, lounges and restaurants.
The itinerary this year will include the following locations: Lucky’s Bar & Arcade, The Imperial, Fitzgerald’s, Howl at the Moon, Tin Roof, Hooters, Vida Vida, SIP, Prohibition, Blackfinn Ameripub, Suite, Ri Ra’s, Rooftop 210, StrikeCity, QC Social Club, The Local Charlotte, Roxbury Nightclub, Connolly’s, Whisky River, World Of Beer, Wild Wing Café and FUEL Pizza. There will be $3 – $4 beer specials, $5 and $6 shot & drink specials at all participating crawl locations. Some restaurants will be offering food specials as well.
This year the Santa Bar Crawl is benefitting the Florence Crittenon Services, whose mission is to provide health, education, and social services for at-risk or pregnant adolescents thru their residential programs. The local Charlotte chapter, located in Dilworth, currently serves 40-50 children in the area as well as a handful of families on campus. In addition to a monetary donation, the Santa Bar Crawl will be collecting toys and household items for the Florence Crittenton House at event check-in.
