Police: 4-Year-Old Boy Who Went Missing Has Been Found Safe

UPDATE: 4-year-old Justin Idiarte who went missing early this morning has been found safe.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 4-year-old boy has gone missing, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Officers say Justin Villeda Idiarte was last seen in at the Emerald Bay Apartments located in the 6600 block of Montcrest Drive around 12:50 a.m. this morning.

Investigators say Justin’s mom went to bed and assumed everyone was asleep and sound. She later awakened when she heard another child crying and thought Justin went to bathroom. Soon after, the mother realized Justin was no longer in the home.

Justin is a Hispanic male, weighs 40 pounds and is approximately 3 feet tall. He has short, black hair and was last seen wearing a grey Nike short-sleeve shirt with black Nike logo on the front. Justin was also wearing a green and brown camo shorts, a green Ninja Turtle jacket, brown and tan boat-style shoes with bright, white laces.
