EOTC: Who Is Hosting The Academy Awards?

Update: Kevin Hart is hosting the 2018 Academy Awards.  The A-list actor and comedian confirmed he will emcee the Oscars for the very first time Tuesday.  He wrote on Instagram: “I will be sure to make this year’s Oscars a special one. Now it’s time to rise to the occasion.”

Previous Reporting:

Looks like no one wants to host the Oscars next year.
The Hollywood Reporter says the 2019 Academy Awards still doesn’t have an emcee, though the award show is only three months away.
Oprah Winfrey, Justin Timberlake and Jerry Seinfeld have reportedly turned down the gig.
Apparently so have Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who hosted the Golden Globes three years in a row.

Plus, the highest paid YouTube star of 2018 is just 7-years-old and Kanye West got called out for texting during a Broadway show.
