MONROE, NC — Police are trying to find a 16-year-old girl who reportedly ran away in November after being dropped off at school.
Yuliana Patino Garcia was last seen, police say, being dropped off at Monroe High School on November 14th. According to investigators, family members have made contact with Yuliana over the phone several times but she has refused to come home.
Police say Yuliana has run away twice in the past, and traveled to Chicago on one of those occasions. She is believed to be with another Union County runaway, Francis Manduano.
Yuliana is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, with a medium complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white top, white shoes, white jeans, and carrying a black backpack.
