3 Victims Identified After Apparent Deadly Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. — The York County Coroner’s Office has identified three men who reportedly died from apparent carbon monoxide poisoning over the weekend.

Officials say Manuel Henriquez-Ortiz, 37, Maynor Cruz, 25, and Onan Turcio, 29, all of Charlotte, were found by family Saturday afternoon at a home on Cherry Street off Red River Road in Rock Hill. The men were unconscious when first responders arrived, and pronounced dead a short time later.

Authorities reported an elevated level of carbon monoxide in the home. Detectives do not believe there are any signs of foul play at this time.

The official cause of death will be released by the York County Coroner’s Office. Autopsy and toxicology results are still pending.
