BOONE, NC — Police in Boone are still investigating after an unknown called in a bomb threat near the Watauga County Courthouse Friday morning.
Police say the call was made around 9am. The caller claimed that bombs and violence would be going off at a business on West King Street near the Watauga County Courthouse.
When authorities responded to the location however, they say no evidence was found to support any of the claim.
The investigation is ongoing.
