CONCORD, NC — The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in connection to a bank robbery Friday morning.
Robert Brown Jr., 46, of Spartanburg, SC, and Richard Shannon, 45, of Inman, SC, have each been charged with Common Law Robbery and Felony Conspiracy.
Deputies say the men robbed the Pinnacle Financial Partners on Main Street in Harrisburg, NC around 10:45am. The two suspects reportedly handed a note to the clerk demanding money and escaped with an undisclosed amount.
No injuries were reported.
Deputies say Brown and Shannon were arrested during a traffic stop not far from the bank thanks to a suspect vehicle description given at the scene.
