HBO announced the cast for the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel series, with a black woman nabbing a lead role.
She is British actress Naomi Ackie, who is relatively unknown in the United States.
The network also tapped a woman to direct the show’s pilot.
Her name is SJ Clarkson and she’ll also be a producer.
