Federal Workers Hit By Shutdown Turn To Go Fund Me

The partial government shutdown is entering it’s 19th day making it the second longest in US History. And federal workers are feeling the pinch. Hundreds of federal employees, small-business owners and others are going online to raise money to help make ends meet.

More than 700 accounts have been created on GoFund Me. We talked with Charlotte TSA worker who says some of her co-workers are calling out sick. While others are picking up extra jobs with Uber, Postmates and Grubhub, What advice would you give lawmakers in fixing this issues?
