CMPD Bridging the Difference Community Conversation

Thursday, January 17

Halton Theater, CPCC Central Campus

This community dialogue about police and community relations features an outstanding and diverse panel of perspectives as well as roundtable discussions and public participation on topics such as police support and accountability, access and opportunity, and bias and privilege.

MLK Parade

Saturday, January 19

10:00 AM-Noon

Uptown Charlotte

The parade will march down Tryon Street, beginning at 9th Street and ending at Stonewall Street. The CLT250 float will join more than 100 community organizations, marching bands and step and drill teams.

Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week

The area’s favorite culinary celebration will return Friday, January 18, through Sunday, January 27, 2019, as Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week® features more than 125 restaurants in 9 counties offering three-course, prix fixe dinners for just $30 or $35 per person.
