Winter Storm Moving Through, Cold Start To Week

A winter storm pushes out of the area today. Expect the best chance for snow, up to two inches, across the mountains and foothills. However, the biggest accumulations of ice could extend all the way to the I-85 corridor where up to a quarter of an inch could hit. Some of this may come from freezing rain which could lead to downed trees or power lines. South of I-85 gets mainly rain with the potential for a light glaze of ice Sunday morning. This all clears out by Sunday afternoon leaving us dry until next weekend.

Tonight: Mainly rain. Low 34°.

Sunday: AM rain. High 44°.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy. Low 32°.

Monday: Mostly cloudy. High 45°.
