Cleveland County Traffic Stop Leads To 4 Arrests, Seizure Of Drugs And Weapons

GROVER, NC — Cleveland County deputies have charged four suspects with trafficking methamphetamine after a traffic stop early Friday morning.

The stop reportedly happened on I-85 near Grover. Deputies say they seized about 4.4 pounds of methamphetamine, 2 ounces of heroin, 8 grams of marijuana, one rock of crack cocaine, three handguns and a bulletproof vest during a search of the vehicle.

The four suspects are now facing the following charges:

  • Amy Nicole Foley, 33, of Patrick Springs, is charged with Conspire to Traffic Heroin and Conspire to Traffic Methamphetamine
  • Troy Daniel Hamilton, 40, of Hickory, is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine by Transportation, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Possession, Trafficking Heroin by Transportation, Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Possession of Firearm by Felon and Possession of Stolen Firearm
  • Anthony Scott Bailey, 48, of Lumber Port, WV is charged with Conspire to Traffic Heroin, Conspire to Traffic Methamphetamine and Possession of Crack Cocaine
  • Daniel Jackson Rogers, 47, Patrick Springs, VA, is charged with Conspire to Traffic Heroin and Conspire to Traffic Methamphetamine
