YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Visit York County will host the inaugural Visit York County Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Holiday Basketball Showcase on January 21, 2019 at York Comprehensive High School.
The Visit York County MLK Holiday Basketball Showcase will feature a 12-team field including some of the top high school basketball teams in South Carolina.
The 12 high school teams competing in the tournament include Blacksburg, Brookland-Cayce, Chapin, Chesnee, Clover, Eau Claire, Fort Mill, Laurens, McCormick, Nation Ford, Northwestern and York.
“There’s so many great things happening in sports locally and Visit York County is glad to be able to showcase some talented local teams as well as throughout South Carolina,” said Andy Clinton, VP of Sales for Visit York County.
The Visit York County MLK Showcase team matchups are as follows:
12pm McCormick vs. Blacksburg
1:30pm Clover vs. Chesnee
3pm Fort Mill vs. Laurens
4:30pm Northwestern vs. Eau Claire
6pm York Comprehensive vs. Chapin
7:30pm Nation Ford vs. Brookland-Cayce
