Social Media Stars Agree To Declare When They Post Ads
Online Influencers are now being held more accountable for what they post.
16 Influencers including Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora have agreed to change how they post online, after their social media profiles were investigated by an advertising watchdog.
They will now have to clearly state whether they’ve been paid to promote a brand or product. If they don’t comply, they’ll face fines or up to two years in prison.
