CORNELIUS, NC — Police are trying to find a suspect they say broke into a home Tuesday morning and assaulted one of the occupants.
The crime happened in the area Edinburgh Square Drive and Cloverstone Circle. CMPD’s aviation unit was called to assist Cornelius Police in their search for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black hoodie.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
