Pipe Bomb Found After Search Of Salisbury Home
SALISBURY, NC– In January 2019, Detectives with the Rowan Sheriff’s Office began investigating a breaking and entering that occurred at the Apple Baking Company, and at the Franklin Fire Department.
There were multiple types of lawn care equipment stolen from Apple Baking Company, and multiple Fire Department equipment and tools stolen from the Franklin Fire Department.
Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives located stolen property at a Salisbury home during a follow up investigation.
After confirmation of the stolen property, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home on Burmac Circle, authorities executed a search warrant, and located an additional $15,000.00 worth of stolen property.
Authorities say they also discovered a home made pipe bomb in David Boardman, 24, jacket pocket and was taken into custody for Felony Possession of Stolen Property and Possessing a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
