56-Year-Old Charlotte Man Who Went Missing Has Been Found Safe

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say 56-year-old Alben Marcus who went missing for over a week has been found safe.
He was located Tuesday night in the Metro Division.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are looking for a 56-year-old man who has been missing for over a week.
Alben Marcus was last seen around 10pm on Monday, January 21st. Police say he was getting on a CATS bus near Hawthorne Lane.
Marcus reportedly does not have any family or friends in the Charlotte area.
He is described as a thin black male, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 130 pounds, balding with salt and pepper hair and a scruffy white beard. Police say Marcus’ posture may make him appear shorter and he walks with a noticeable limp/stagger.
Marcus was last seen wearing a red toboggan, black M&Ms race jacket, baggy blue pants and black shoes with white soles.
Anyone with information on Marcus’ whereabouts is asked to call 911.
