Gastonia Nissan will be teaming up with CaroMont health and hosting their 6th Annual “Go Red For Women” to raise awareness, provide screenings, and education for women’s heart disease from 10 a.m. to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 9th at the dealership, 2275 E. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia.
The CaroMont Health Community and Wellness Team will have several health care professionals performing cholesterol/glucose screenings, providing education, and counsel on test results as well as free blood pressure checks, body mass index results and information regarding exercise and nutrition. Comprised of highly trained professionals, the Mobile Wellness Team brings preventative, lifesaving screenings, 100% free of charge to the public on this day thanks to the generosity of Gastonia Nissan who will be covering the costs and sponsoring the event. In addition, this event will feature a Yoga Station with a certified yoga instructor, a Heart Healthy Cooking Demonstration (and samples) with Chef Erin, a Fitness Dyna Band Demonstration, Chair Massage and lots of raffle giveaways.
