KANNAPOLIS, NC — Police have arrested the man they say shot and killed Deonte Phifer Saturday afternoon.
Kenneth Robinson, of Concord, was arrested Tuesday without incident, police say.
The shooting happened around 4:18pm at a home on Wilson Street. Phifer was reportedly found dead from a gunshot wound, and witnesses reported seeing a man fleeing the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
