NBA, Curry Family Help Build New Courts At Recreation Center

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The NBA helped build two new basketball courts in Charlotte and the impression from this year’s All-Star game will be remembered for years to come.

There courts are at the Naomi Drenan Recreation Center in the Cotswold area.

Governor Roy Cooper was in attendance, as well as CMPD Police Chief Kerr Putney and Seth Curry of the Portland Trailblazers.

A mentoring program is also being implemented at the recreation center, and Governor Cooper believes the program will significantly improve the community.
