Frat Suspended For Making Pledges Wear ‘Dora The Explorer’ Backpacks

We’ve all heard stories of hazing that are pretty horrific.
In fact: many schools forbid frats and sororities putting new pledges through initiation rituals.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison suspended its chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi Kappa for violating the school’s student organization code of conduct.
The school says the fraternity forced pledges to wear ‘Dora The Explorer’ backpacks last fall.
Pledges were also made to carry fruit around campus and run errands for upperclassmen.
School officials say the fraternity is suspended from all activities and events until March 24.
The frat will the go on probation until December 11, but the university says they can still file an appeal.
