CHARLOTTE, NC — A man is being treated at the hospital after officials say he was shot in the leg Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 7pm in the area of Brookshire Boulevard and Centre Street. Police say the victim got into an argument/altercation with two suspects, which resulted in the shooting.
The victim then ran to a nearby residence on Nelson Avenue, CMPD says, and called 911. MEDIC says the victim’s injuries are not life threatening.
Police have not released any suspect information, and say no arrests have been made at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
