Warning Issued For Children Who Watch YouTube
A Mom in Florida is speaking out after she says, she found multiple videos on Youtube Kids that offered instructions on how to commit suicide. The mom says she was first alerted about the video back in July by another mom.
She says, a video popped up showing a man in sunglasses telling kids how to slit their wrists.
The Mom says, it took Youtube about a week to pull the video down. But this month, the Woman says she saw the video again this time on Youtube.
Youtube released a statement saying, “flagged videos are manually reviewed 24/7 and any videos that don’t belong in the app are removed. We’ve also been investing in new controls for parents including the ability to hand pick videos and channels in the app.”
What steps need to be taken to prevent this from happening again?
