Woman Charged With Murder After Man Shot And Killed During Domestic Dispute In North Charlotte

The CMPD has charged 29-year-old Heather Nicole Ricci with First Degree Murder, in the death of 28-year-old Luis Felipe Ramirez-Flores.

Police say that Ricci and Ramirez-Flores were known to one another.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed in north Charlotte, on Sunday morning.

On Sunday morning, at about 6:36 a.m., CMPD officers responded to a domestic violence call in the 1000 block of Tara Lane.

Arriving officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment.  MEDIC pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The CMPD says the incident appears to be domestic in nature and detectives are not looking for a suspect.  According to police, detectives are interviewing witnesses who were on the scene when officers arrived.
