Death Investigation Underway At East Charlotte Construction Site

CHARLTOTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after someone was found dead at a construction site in east Charlotte.

Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called to Albemarle Road near Nathanael Greene Lane in east Charlotte just before 8am for a death investigation.

Witnesses say officers are looking for clues near a portable toilet that is on the construction site.  No other details have been released at this time.
