Morris was transported by Medic with life threatening injuries, but died Tuesday at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center.

Police say they do not know what prompted the dispute, and no arrests have been made at this time. A spokesperson with UNC Charlotte says Morris was not a student.
