Snowplow Parenting On The Rise

Snowplow parenting is now on the rise. This parenting style includes parents clearing any obstacles in their child’s path to success. A recent poll by the New York Times looked at parents of children between ages 18 to 28. They found 76% reminded their adult kids of deadlines they need to meet, including for schoolwork.

74% made appointments for them. And 15% texted or called their kids to make sure they didn’t sleep through a class or test.
