Huntersville Police Need Help Identifying Weekend Armed Robbery Suspect

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville Police are trying to identify a suspect they say robbed at least one convenience store over the weekend.

The crime happened around 11:13pm on Sunday. The suspect entered a Cashion’s and tried to rob the store at gunpoint, police say, but walked out without any money.

Before taking off, the suspect reportedly fired a shot in the air towards the store.

Huntersville Police say the suspect may be responsible for additional robberies in Mooresville, Cornelius and Troutman that occurred the same night.
