Enjoy Some “Juicy Brews” While Watching Basketball This Saturday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This Saturday, March 23rd, Hop Culture & Resident Culture Present: Juicy Brews March Madness – a craft beer festival featuring hazy and juicy IPAs from over 25 of the best breweries in the Carolinas and beyond. The festival runs from 12 noon to 4PM at Resident Culture Brewing Company will also feature blow-up TVs playing the March Madness games, very danceable music, and tasty food.
Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in their favorite college basketball gear and to watch out for the heated rivalry between Hop Culture’s founder, Kenny Gould, who graduated from Duke and will naturally be cheering on the Blue Devils, and Resident Culture’s founder Phillip McLamb, who has actually played basketball at UNC!
You may not have heard of all the beers that you can taste at Juicy Brews March Madness, “When we go into a new city, we like to bring in breweries that consumers can’t usually get, but we have some great local representation at this event with Resident Culture and Heist.” says Kenny Gould, founder of Hop Culture – a New York-based craft beer publication. It’s not just about bringing new beer to the locals though, “While we’re in town, we’ll have the opportunity to visit some new places, and we’d like to bring more Charlotte breweries to our events in other cities. We’ve heard fantastic things about Wooden Robot, Salud Cerveceria, Triple C, and Birdsong – among others, and I look forward to checking them out!”
