Lancaster Man Charged With Trafficking Meth
LANCASTER COUNTY, SC — A Lancaster man is charged with trafficking methamphetamine following his arrest on March 15th.
Agents with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force say Brian Campbell, 26, was arrested around 8pm during a traffic stop near the intersection of Charlotte Highway and Hubbard Drive.
Officials say the vehicle was speeding at the time of the stop, and Campbell was a passenger. After identifying Campbell, deputies say they learned he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Distribution of Methamphetamine related to an incident in November 2018.
According to the LCSO, Campbell had two bags of methamphetamine on him at the time of his arrest, weighing 58.4 grams, as well as roughly $1,100 in cash.
In addition to the outstanding warrant, Campbell is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine 28-100 Grams.
Deputies say the woman driving the vehicle was not arrested.
