Mom Protests Leggings In Letter To Notre Dame Student Paper

What’s the matter with leggings? That’s what students at the University of Notre Dame are asking a mom wrote a letter to the school’s newspaper telling female students to stop wearing leggings.

In the letter the mom argued that women and girls should not wear leggings because they are immodest and can attract unwanted male attention.

The mom recalled attending church and seeing a group of young women wearing snug-fitting leggings and short tops. In response to the letter, students on campus held a protest where they posted pics of their favorite leggings. The debate over leggings as pants is not new.

Some K-12 schools have banned saying they’re distracting to boys up there with spaghetti straps and short shorts.
