STATESVILLE, NC — A Charlotte man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor.
Kima Ivey is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile multiple times between March 2017 and January 2019. Statesville Police say the investigation began after the crimes were reported on January 24th.
Warrants for Ivey’s arrest were issued on March 15th and he was arrested at his Charlotte home by CMPD six days later.
Ivey is charged with 13 counts of Sex Offense and eight counts of Indecent Liberties.
