Today is Equal Pay Day it represents the number of extra days a woman has to work into the new year in order to earn what her male colleagues made last year.
Although it may seem as if wage conditions are getting better over time, there is still room for improvement.
Women continue to face workplace hardships like fewer promotions and less support. They also experience pregnancy discrimination and sexual harassment.
On top of all that, they’re getting paid 80 cents on average for every dollar a man makes. How can we close the gender pay gap?
