LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have charged a man with sexually assaulting two children.
On January 24th, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Lincoln County Department of Social Services about two children who were sexually abused. The report said the children were between the ages of seven and 11-years-old when the incidents occurred.
Jesus Diaz Guzman, 30, of Lincolnton confessed to inappropriately touching the children during an interview with investigators on April 4th, according to a news release.
He has been charged with one felony count of statutory rape of a child by an adult and two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. He is currently in the Crouse Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond.
